Diamond Dotted Polyester Electrical Insulation Film, commonly referred to as DPF or DDM, is an insulating material engineered for high-performance electrical applications. It is manufactured by precision-coating a modified, high-grade epoxy resin in a uniform diamond-dot pattern onto a durable electrical polyester (PET) film substrate. 

The innovative dot matrix is meticulously designed to cover only 36% of the surface area, leaving 64% of the film uncoated to create optimized micro-channels.

This electrical polyester film exhibits an excellent balance of mechanical and dielectric properties. It possesses high tensile strength, good dimensional stability, and can bear considerable mechanical stress. Its electrical properties are outstanding, featuring high dielectric strength and the ability to withstand significant voltage stress. The physical and electrical characteristics remain stable across a wide operational temperature range, with the polyester base film typically rated for continuous use up to 120°C - 130°C.

DPF film is a versatile insulating solution widely used in both gas and liquid insulation systems. Its primary applications include:

• Transformers: Layer and phase insulation in dry-type, oil-filled, and SF6 gas-insulated transformers.

• Instrument Transformers: Wire winding and layer insulation in high-current voltage transformers (VT) and current transformers (CT), especially within SF6 environments.

• Electric Motors: Slot insulation and phase insulation.

• Other Fields: Also suitable for various automotive and general electronic insulation applications.
